Noga Aumann has been a longtime faculty member of Hadassah University Hospital for their outpatient Children’s Psychiatry Clinic and also worked as a psychologist for the Keshev Institute for Diagnosis and Treatment of Teenagers, both in Israel.  Noga had the recent experience of moving with her own children to Pennsylvania, where she worked to find schools for them in a language other than their own.  She has also been affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety and the Family Treatment Center of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Noga received her Doctoral and Masters degrees from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.

Dubai

Ritika Gupta Merchant hails from Delhi, India and has traveled extensively. She currently lives in Dubai and has had a diverse range of corporate experience, both in India and the UAE. Ritika has tutored students for the GMAT, GRE, and SAT and has also counseled students for international university admissions. She holds an Honors Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from Liverpool John Moores University, UK and a Post Grad Degree in Human Rights.

Namita Khanna has headed the Welfare Committee with International Women’s Groups, as well as teaching English, fundraising, writing a monthly newsletter and assessing the needs of local charities.  Namita is bilingual in English and Hindi.  She has a B.A in Economics from Bombay University, and a MBA in Marketing from the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok.

KENYA

Nairobi

Edwin Maina has more than 15 years educational experience. He has been involved in teaching TOEFL, SAT, GRE, and GMAT (verbal) to learners in a multicultural setting as well as advising students on international university admissions and career guidance. He has also worked as the administrative editor of a leading educational magazine in Nairobi. Edwin is currently working as a professional writer and editor. He holds a Bachelors degree in English and Literature from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya.

SOUTH AFRICA

Johannesburg

Meg Fargher is the former principal of the oldest school in Johannesburg and currently works as an educational consultant in Johannesburg. Meg also oversees a scholarship program in South Africa and she sits on a number of educational and charitable trusts. She is a co-author of two parenting books published by Penguin (SA). Meg holds a Master’s Degree in English and has a Higher Diploma in Education. She was also awarded a fellowship to study school leadership at the Klingenstein Center, Columbia University, New York.

Sharon Landey held various teaching posts in Johannesburg and in London from 1969 to 1992.  While living in London, Sharon also worked as a couples’ therapist. Since returning to Johannesburg she has been a Consultant to the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, assisting them to develop a strategy for a safer South Africa. She has a Teacher’s Diploma with Distinction from Johannesburg College of Education.
